I never thought of it as an angry film, but now that you've said it… you are absolutely correct. It's pretty overt too, even in the style. 

I hope that someday "Lost Highway" gets this sort of treatment and insight. By far my favorite Lynch movie. BV being right behind it, sometimes edging it out if only because it was my introduction to Lynch.

I had a similar experience. VHS and a 17 year old 3,000 miles away from home on his way to art school. I must have rewound and watched it 4 or 5 times over a few days. Mind blown forever.

Yeah, the production is pretty goddamn nice, actually. Maybe the mix isn't your thing but I wouldn't call it bad either.

Dumb question - are the Vig mixes JUST the mixes, or are they also (presumably?) mastered?
