I do agree on that, if you're gonna ride the nostalgia train, get the fucking costume right. I know some would say it looks ridiculous, but it IS ridiculous to not to do it. It's Cobra Fucking Goddamn Commander!

Hama was some sort of advisor. I have a feeling they didn't use him much. And yeah, he had a bit part but I don't remember, I think you're right and he was a general. I recognized him right away.
I've heard tales of Drunk Bateman… but don't know the story… fill me in? Linkage?
RIP
(Not a firstie attempt)
Agreed. New Nile is just furious.
Eh
I liked it. It is what it is. I'll take it over Avatar.
Way too short!
I recently - about a year ago - had a chance to finally watch Thunderbolt And Lightfoot. Bridges is heartbreaking in that. Great movie. Of course, he is great in everything…. lifetime pass for me, along with Kurt Russell.
I second that! I don't really have the cash flow to be buying DVD's these days, but I randomly picked it up because I love Mike Judge, and yeah, what a treat! She is hilarious in it…
RDJR. and Swingers guy proved that… Marvel Studios lucked out with that team.
Hey Marc
I live in Montesano, WA a few blocks from Cobain's childhood home. I work in Aberdeen.
That would be sooooo sweet if Letterman handed his show over to Conan and he could go head to chin with that megalomaniac Leno.
hahaha
Word.
Oh man, I could get on board with Campbell as Kraven… holy shit that would be great!
"The Sandman rolled into the third movie with the same striped shirt as the comics and he's was great whenever they weren't shoe-horning him into Spidey's origin or making him Venom's lackey."
There's a good movie in there somewhere… but yeah, it collapsed under its own bloat. Franco was awesome in it though. Fuck Venom. I hate that character. I wish they hadn't forced him to include him and the horribly distracting/unnecessary storyline.
My only complaint in RTP, is that I wish they would have stuck to the ending in the graphic novel (which I worked on). Had I had no knowledge of the original ending, I'd probably have been more okay with the movie version, which does work.
I'd go with "Live And Let Die" as well… great, great song. And I like Ursula Andress the best. By far.
Just wanted to say I enjoyed reading these insights. I work (design) for a small local paper in the middle of nowhere (Aberdeen, WA) that actually does okay. It's healthy for what it is but the future is questionable. The pay rate is really ridiculous and I think that contributes for sure to the quality and decline of…
No justice in life. haha
