I have no real personal investment in the source material nor any feelings one way or the other about the movie actually getting made. One thing is for certain, I won't see it within the first several weeks of it being out - if at all depending on the overall consensus of reviews.

Baulderstone, thanks - and I agree with the way Moore comes across, much better when you can hear or see him. He seems suuuuuper pretentious (or more pretentious than usual!) in print! haha

The Hater keeps me going… my pants get a little tighter when a new one pops up. Pun intended.

TDK = not that good. (and few will be honest enough to admit it)

Firmly in the former. Always. I broke my fanboy goggles yeeeeaaaaaars ago.

Agreed. The beginning of the end for Miller.

He's from Pennsylvania, then Chicago where he did some stuff with Al from Ministry while getting NIN going…

Yeah, I dig it. It never fails to bring the funny.

Death Magnetic IS fantastic… anyone who says otherwise is just hatin'… could easily sit between Justice and the black album.

ANT-MAN?!

My friend's band is on tour with Metallica right now - and he says they bring that shit every night. Tons of energy and fire. They're all fantastic musicians and performers, for me it has more to do with Hetfield's vocals the last 10 years. Though he did redeem himself on Death Magnetic.

Zodiac,

Was definitely a fake chest…. man, this sucks.

Yeah, whatever the most obvious and worst thing is - will happen.

Christ, are those 2 shitflicks really offered up in Criterion versions?

Dave is credited and paid accordingly for the most part I believe. Though I've heard rumblings that he wrote a riff or two that ended up on 'Puppets' (Leper Messiah) that he is not credited for.

Those first 4 albums set the gold standard for metal. The black album is unfairly dissed for the most part, it is played out sure, but holds up extremely well.

Once upon a time they would have done that I think.

Is Spidey's webbing still organic in the comics, or did they revert back to Peter making his own… which I always liked better, him using his scientific mind as well as having to be mindful and conservative of how much he's used/has left… both make sense though.
