And right after he got a first name too…
I know- this is a guy named Blood who waxed poetic on how crucifixions were underrated. Why didn't Oliver kill him right then and there on principle?
The Barry voice or the Evil Barry voice?
It's what I thought for a while- that they were fucking with him for some reason. But it wouldn't explain why Slade looked different in present day or why he would still be so mad at Oliver if Shado was actually alive.
"Welp… time to put in my fightin' eye"
I am waiting for the episode where Thea and Roy somehow get the drop on Slade so he can start hissing about how much he hates teens.
I know! My reaction was "Oh it's Ivo…wait…Aussie accent… YESSSS"
The Speedys have been slowly growing on me. Both Roy and Thea have been way less annoying this season and I loved that their storyline didn't turn into "Roy helps Syn with a problem, Thea gets suspicious, Thea yells at Roy" which is where I thought it was going. Thea was both mature enough to realize Roy was just…
I was excited to think that the particle accelerator was all just one giant annoying red herring.
"Do your parents know you're here?"
Oliver started being hilariously bitchy to Barry the second he met him and before he had any interaction with Felicity so I would go with more concern over how Barry could potentially fuck up the investigation, especially as it hit particularly close to home.
So, even though the Machine pulled up Reese's number because of the hit out on him, in true PoI fashion it looks like he just switched from victim to perpetrator because homicide definitely just went up to the top of his to do list.
I knew it wasn't going to be Fusco because that was too obvious so my guess was Reese too. I figured the show didn't need two trained assassins and I was worried right up until both got shot. Now I'm pissed off about the bait and switch. But I should have guessed it wouldn't be Reese- I don't think the show would kill…
Terms of Enrampagement… yesss…
I don't think Finch has ever called her Joss before. If he ever refers to Shaw as Sameen you know deep shit is about to go down.
The problem I had with the ending is the same problem I had with the kiss: I felt like the show was sort of talking down to me. I loved Carter's character and I felt like the show didn't think anyone would take her death seriously unless she literally died in Reese's arms in the most dramatic way possible while…
Good job to whoever was responsible for the title card at the end where the usually loud and annoying "Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode" was edited out. The silence after the phone was great.
A-
They had a picture of Reese and he and Carter didn't do much to hide the bleeding handcuffed HR guy they're dragging around.
Those things don't count because literally no one mentioned them ever again. Amy got over having her baby melt on her between episodes.
