Aye.

revival!
How about a proposal to the producers, writers, cast & crew: Take about 2-3 years (or whatever) off, get your shit together, and revive the show for one final season. Broadcast it on FX if necessary, bottom line is take your time & get it right. Make a movie in the meantime if you want to, but how about one

Toby's alright. He's no Merle Haggard, but he doesn't deserve all the shit he gets either. He's actually a pretty good songwriter and a damn good singer when it comes to the ballads. I think he's been pretty misunderstood a lot of the time too - like his main influence, Haggard, a lot of misperceptions about his

oh and John McCain of course.

Then again, bringing in big-name actors has been a constant for this show, starting with Dennis Hopper & Lou Diamond Philips in Season One (not to mention Keifer & Dennis Haysbert as the two main characters!), on through Jon Voight, James Cromwell, Powers Boothe, Tony Todd, Agent Prinze, Jr …

Series Finale?
I saw this article a few days ago, has anyone else seen anything like it?

so Powers Boothe is the only former president on this show that is not (presumably) either mostly dead or dead, correct? At least that we've seen on-screen — i remember talk of a "President Barnes" in Season One . . . shit hang on, Logan's VP was probably sworn in for a while, wasn't he . . . christ they've had like

Wayne Palmer
's name was brought up tonight . . . haven't heard his name on the show since season six, i don't think. i think we're supposed to assume he survived the attempt on his life, but we were never told for sure?

it was earlier in the season, but the first one i thought of from this year i could check off.

(that was one of mine anyway..)

nerd checklist
Herc & Jack Bauer together … check!

Crazed Country Rebel
Williams IS a drug-crazed road hog — a hard-living, traveling musician. How much more authentic a song can he write about the life he knows?

It would be impossible to know the exact safeguards Hassan (& his conspirators) would have had in place to prevent the assassination from actually succeeding. Maybe another man inside the NYPD was going to stop the assassination, maybe the charge was too weak . . . whatever it was, it doesn't matter because CTU beat

Fearless Predictions
i just watched this episode for the second time (no shit). There were a couple of things that i couldn't shake the feeling of last night that became a little more ingrained in my brain the second time around:

……………….Aaron Peirce…..?

Kris Kristofferson Buck Owens Waylon Jennings Loretta Lynn
wow . . . some giants coming up!

On the plus side
Agen Prinze, Jr was barely seen.

normally I've already seen the season by that time too . . . I didn't pick up season 7 yet, so I'll get it for Christmas like normal. Considering skipping season 8 while it's airing, and saving the first viewing for New Years. I'd have to keep my head buried in the ground anytime I'm watching FOX and they're airing

. . . This is the longest day of my life.
Every year on New Years Day I drag my hungover ass out of bed as early as I possibly can (last year by 10AM - a record!) and bust open the latest season of 24 (which I always receive for a Christmas present one week prior). I then attempt to watch the entire season in one
