I hate Taking the Stone even more than just because it is boring and not well done, but because it does have a connection to future episodes that a newbie shouldn't miss.
Wasn't Nerdist doing a 60 second Farscape episode rewatch? I wonder if that version is good enough to show to newbies for plot points and takes away

Not "like", they are mother and father. Did you not attend orientation?

Northwesterners!
It would be so great for our little corner of the world to be associated with producing such a jewel of a star.

I loved that moment, but I almost wish she had said, 'When Roxxxy was in the bottom two.'
I know it works better the way she says it, I know, but throwing a little shade never hurts a funny girl.

We might get a better portion of Snatch Game competitor, if they make it through the other challenges. I think Ru and casting crew look for a mix of drag styles to bring in, but some don't make it to the challenge they were brought in for.
I have a feeling Penny Tration would have been good at the Snatch Game.

I'm Team Jinkx because I can't go against the hometown Queen, but if Jinkx weren't from Seattle, I very well may have become Team Alaska after that Defend Your Life. Girl has speechifying abilities.
I went into tonight's episode knowing Jinkx was going to win it because she had 'IT', but now I'm not sure. I think Ru

Wait, someone higher up in the thread said that 'A Perfect Murder' wasn't the lawyer planet one. Now I don't know which episode I just said I always skip. Damn it.
Ok, so I think 'Dream A Little Dream' is the worst episode of Farscape. I'll watch 'Taking the Stone' before I'll watch the lawyer planet.

I think the only two episodes I skip with no reservation are "Taking the Stone" and "A Perfect Murder". I really look forward to hearing the discussion in particular on "Taking the Stone", because even while I don't like it, I can understand why people would defend it.

I think the reasons you list are similar to why I kinda like the episode. It actually shows how the crew has started to think of themselves as a crew/family that they would spend that long searching for him.
I am a pretty forgiving viewer and can generally tune out the drek with my knitting while focusing on the good

I absolutely believe Chiana did it. I think she very well may have done it even if Durka hadn't slipped the conditioning.
Considering what we learn about her past in future episodes, it feels like a natural conclusion.

Oh, and Jinkx repeated over and over throughout the night how lucky she felt getting paired with Dave because none of the other girls would have appreciated him like she did.
But, she did mention she was about 2 sit-ups away from winning the mini-challenge and likely would have taken Mack.

Right on the nose. I also heard last night that he's written a memoir of sorts. If you follow Jinkx on FB or Twitter, she'll be letting fans know about it.

Ok, I am posting on AV Club for the first time because you people have to hear what went down at Jinx's viewing party last night. So much wonderfulness about Fortuna Monsoon!!
Apparently, Dave not only introduced Judy Garland to the sleeping pills she overdosed on, he was a Navy physician and literally handed her the
