Does it involve the bloodline of Jesus?

For those about to Shock(ed), we salute you.

Agreed.  There's not a single wasted line in this one, and there are so many types of humor that it's not just a string of one type of joke.  I mean, who thought to bring in James Taylor for this episode and use him so incredibly effectively?  With respect to his image, his lyrics, and his coming up with the solution

You thought he was the crusty old dean, and the nerds couldn't agree on when to go.

I believe it's "campy" drawing.  I love that little sequence - so much fun!

I'm a huge Simpsons apologist, and I have to say I'm equally disappointed in the direction of some of the "easy" jokes they've made over the past few years.  It really is a dumbing down of the writing and a shame they can't find something better.  I'd be happier with a higher aim and a miss than aiming at the lowest

I know what it's like to have books "on deck" that I'll eventually read and never seem to get to them.  And, dude, good luck with the kid - it's the greatest thing that'll ever happen to you.  Fingers crossed here, on your behalf.

I have actually known the guy since the mid-90s, and he's a really good dude.  Not cock-punchable in the least.  His books are good reads, and his last book with Merryman, "Nurtureshock", was excellent.  I wouldn't avoid this book simply because you think the guy is lame.

I find it interesting in reading the comments (well, most of them) that Crosby, Stills, and Nash haven't been mentioned.  All three of their voices, and Crosby and Nash, in particular, are beautiful and carry the music.  In thinking of them, I'm questioning the whole "good" thing with respect to the vocals role in a

The Dandy Warhols make catchy music that is really fun to listen to.  Yes, CTT clearly thinks about what sounds good and could sell records.  Sometimes, it's actually nice to listen to catchy music and not worry about "never sold out integrity" or whatever.  Anton seemed so hell-bent on always being the definition of

He's got a new leash on life. (Smirks toward the camera.)

She was in Colors.  Hey, Pac Man!

You mean the one inspired by the Doobie Brothers' "What A Cool Believes"?

I loved The Hangover and enjoy low-brow comedy if done well (I suppose that could be said for everything!) but I agree, this looks like a bad movie, regardless of the genre/type.  The Girl Next Door was a great movie that seems to be aimed at the same demographic - it's a shame that the makers of this movie seem to

I just meant that it was difficult to get a sense of the film when I had no clue what they were saying but it came across more harshly than I intended.  However, it really is hard to try to get a feel for a film when David Caruso is speaking German.  It just doesn't look right.

I might be interested in seeing this if I could understand the German being spoken in the trailer.  No English trailers available on YouTube?!?!?

Canyonero: The Cadillac of automobiles!

Don't you mean who are the other 83?

My wife loves it when I hide my husky bishop in her rectory.

No, except for Sean Penn's character's attempt to tell the "two bulls" story.
