I gotta say that Everclear had some very good songs, and if nothing else, Art at least writes songs true to his heart.  Yes, his cover versions are some of the most misguided things I've ever heard, but he genuinely seems to want to be a good dad, especially since his sucked.

I've never really given this any thought until this moment, but the only place I could see the wife-swapping happening outside of baseball is in the ABA of the 70s.

I wouldn't say the movie is strictly about violence, but John Woo's "The Killer" is a damn good movie with some kick-ass violence in it.  Some of the violent scenes in it are genuinely beautiful and incredibly well-orchestrated.  One of my all-time favorite movies.
