I got hooked on this show when I stumbled across it in maybe its second or third season and watched an episode.  It was a good procedural and I liked the characters, but the thing that grabbed me was that at the end, the "bad guy" got away.  We all knew he did it and the police and attorneys did everything right, but

The L&O/Homicide crossover episodes were always cool so perhaps the shows weren't as far apart as you thought…

What annoyed me about her dropping that when she was fired is that it NEVER came up before about her being a lesbian so it was this weird "out of left field" moment.  One of the very few things ever to bug me about L & O.

Don't sell yourself short, Judge.  You're a tremendous slouch.

The guitar in Respectable Street is so cool-sounding that the moment I heard the first note, I fell in love with that song.  I think it's included on Urgh! A Music War, too, which is kinda cool.

They just put out a 20th anniversary edition which is worth checking out.  They DJed for an evening here in LA on The Sound the other night and it was very cool.  David Hidalgo might have the most beautiful voice in all of rock n roll.

If the 10 Desert Island CDs list were narrowed to only one, I would have to take "Gentlemen".  Such an amazing album (as is Congregation), and I'm stoked there are at least two other Whigs' fans on the AVC!
