I was also concerned about the VP's survival during Brody's rant. I kept thinking about "The Incredibles"—"You got me monologuing again!"

I literally cheered when Brody finally dismissed the waste that is Chris. "NOT NOW!"

I'm so glad someone else counts "the lake incident" as the shark-jumping moment. I remember watching that episode with a complete scowl, wondering what they were doing to my favorite show. It fell off my regular viewing schedule soon after.

But since this movie is the product of the Happy Madison clubhouse in
full “He-Man Woman Haters” mode, she’s actually revealed to be something
far more sinister.

I think of Betsy like Lutz on "30 Rock"—representing an extreme of a characteristic, funny, and a great extra layer to a group scene, but deserving of only one individual subplot per season.

I was initially disappointed, too, but now I think it might give him something to do AND give him a role in disposing of that stupid plot. So…maybe a win/win for Cary? #glasshalffull

I agree. I tune in every week, and generally enjoy it, but it's nowhere near as compelling as it was in the first three (and especially the first two) seasons. There's no overarching plot to drive this season—Kalinda's marriage storyline was DOA, the firm's bankruptcy is not compelling, and Peter's campaign is bogged…

2L here—I was also going nuts when Breslow was sidelining the client's interests for his own pursuits. I even turned to my boyfriend and said, "That's so not allowed!" (to which he replied, "Why are you making me watch this show?") That and the fact that they broke about five evidence rules during the client's…

The "Catch Me If You Can" credits are absolutely flawless. I give the movie a B+, but the credits get an easy A+.

I think Roya was inviting this kind of bust by the CIA/FBI to determine whether or not Brody had turned against Nazir. Perhaps Nazir gave up Roya and the munitions guy to see whether or not Brody had turned? Why else would they choose a parking lot instead of an alley or abandoned field for their masterplan setup?
