This is A.V. Club. No need to explain what "Police Squad" was.

I agree. Who gives a shit, really? I'm pretty sure the average A.V. club reader's age skews closer to 30 than to 80

Boooooooooooooooo!

Oh, stop sucking his dick - metaphorically speaking, of course.

I had some steak in Johnny Rockets once. It tasted like wet cardboard. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Poor Leonard Pierce.

Too soon for what? Did you know him personally? Did he once save your life or something?

Yes, because Dick Clark was a true American hero.

Not really. Many of us grew up watching this on Nick at Nite.

Janet Jackson has the weirdest-looking nipple I've ever seen.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

This is as obvious an A as any movie.

@ToDDVanDerWerff Just because a show was critically regarded doesn't mean that the sounder minds among us also liked it. Sex and the City was always bullshit.

Writers can also use their life experience, empathy, imagination, and multiple other tools to explore the lives of people that aren't just exaggerated versions of themselves. I could start naming examples, but then I'd feel I'd kinda sunk to a new stupid low.

I would encourage you to buy the set on DVD, then. It is a surprisingly, refreshingly funny series.

Again, fuck you.

Or, alternatively: the part of Brooklyn in which the only non-white person is a creepy, homeless black man. Don't worry, I get it.

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is sooooo overrated, and one of the reasons that George Harrison is in the lower tier of my favorite Beatles.

What's wrong with "Glass Onion" and "Savoy Truffle"? I guess you're not really that much of a fan of the album. Granted, they're no "Dear Prudence", "Martha My Dear," or "Birthday," but  they're not bad. The real low points on the album are go-nowhere tracks like "Wild Honey Pie" and "Good Night."

It's not just you. You are completely correct.
