I don't think continuity is a concept that could ever really be applied to the Simpsons, at least not beyond creating a cast of characters. Sure, sometimes stuff carries over, but backstory is always floating.

It's such an amazing record. Dylan goes to Nashville, records a perfect modern country album, in a way, against e pectations that he would go roots yield rockier. Instead, he records possibly the best straight-up countrypolitan record ever.

Yeah, New Morning is my favorite Dylan album by far (although I would probably refrain from calling it his best…). If not for you, Day of the Locusts, Winterlude, Sign on the Window, Man in Me. Just awesome, low-key songs. I never tire of it.
