It's a novel about bringing life, J.P. McPickleshitter, and the author had some pretty major fucking issues in that area.
Deaths surrounding motherhood were unignorable features of Mary Shelley's life, and fears about birth and death (not to mention every parent's fear of a child turning out wrong) had to be…
Frankenstein
Whether you buy the feminist interpretation or not (it's a story about a man trying to have a child without a women), you can't ignore that when she first thought of Frankenstein, Mary Shelley was a new mother who had already suffered the death of her first child, Clara. On top of that, her then boyfriend…

Didn't the filmmakers begin Dear Zachary (another SPOILER warning, as if they're needed on this thread by now) before the the boy was murdered? If so, I can imagine that as something of an excuse for the decision to leave that bombshell until the end. I'm not defending it, mind you, so much as trying to figure it out.

So it was, Magic Dave, a year too early.
I'm even more impressed!
The first theme is awesome, but I have a soft spot for the theme from the early/mid Baker years. I DID like the Tennant theme; it sounded like going on an adventure. Where as the new theme feels a little too dark and not quite fun enough. It's not bad, I just like the earlier ones better - better job of spooky + fun.…
I don't buy that it's Doctor Goo who gets shot.
Remember when the Doctor and River were comparing notes at the beginning of that episode? The Doctor had done a bunch of stuff with River that our current Doctor hasn't done. I suppose he might have been filled in on those things (or done them or some of them), but I just…
I'm wearing mine right now, Close-watcher.
I suppose SG1 already did that.
I've seen the Pertwee episodes, Nathan Ford's Evil Twin. Note the "as well" in my comment.
How much flesh?
Anybody wanna take best that they're ALL gangers, and the originals are knocked out in a tower somewhere?
