He is the John Romero of the AVC.

REMAIN INDOORS

I disown that, The Moose, just as I do the Slimer shorts.

I'd forgotten how Romulan the Wonder Twins look.

How did they manage to make Lion-O's hair look even dumber?
At least the trailer looks moderately better than the still shot.
I sort of miss the weird combination of sometimes incredibly detailed scenery with really bargain basement animation. Rankin/Bass was doing some interesting stuff in the mid 80s with bringing

I think he was special. I mean, he could talk; he just couldn't stop saying snarf every other word. I'm guessing he was like an Epsilon on the Thundercat home world.

Jake, if you hadn't specified that it was a Trek novel nod, I wouldn't have believed I was actually getting a reference rather than imagining one. I'd argue the merits of Federation with you though. It was at least way better than the one they DID pick to make into a movie, even if it was unfilmable.

In that case, why not spend some time picking on Jackson?

When I was a kid I always liked the rapport that she had with the crew. It seemed right to me that there would be this outside/leveling figure for everyone to communicate with, something that even a good ship's counselor couldn't do, and it was nice to have access to a character who could communicate with and even

This is way late in the thread for this, but I'm with Bad Horse on Mirror Kira. Mmmm….

How is Harding getting off so easy in the president bashing?
His presidency was a joke, one scandal after another, and he and his veep and then successor Coolidge were every bit as helpful in the days leading up to the Depression as Buchanan was in the 1850s.
And then, of course, there's Andrew Johnson.

The best moment of Rascals has to be Picard confirming his baldness as he steps off the transporter platform at the end. Priceless.

Sid Vicious - My Way
It's kind of the only thing he ever did outside of Bollocks that's worth anything. Spike from Buffy sort of made me appreciate it.

Honestly, I never used to notice the recycler until it moved to its current location (and I've been wasting time here since the late 90s, before you could make comments). Maybe Cracked (which I've only been reading online for a year or two) has trained me to check the bottom of articles for more articles.

On an unrelated note:
Why does "40-Year-Old Virgin actor sentenced to life in prison 12/17/2010" ALWAYS seem to pop up for me on the auto-recycler-o-matic. Seriously, that was two months ago and has virtually nothing to do with anything else I'm reading. Is it cause you guys are just pushing that story? What the fuck?

I imagine that her habit of smoking weed everyday started during her slog through the Phantom Menace script.

Dan Fielding
One of the things I really enjoy about Barney is how realistically unprepared he is to deal with human emotion. It's kind of interesting to watch a character like that grow up, which doesn't seem to be how those sorts of characters are usually treated, at least not in such a lengthy fashion.

Yeah, MacLachlan turned that scene from annoying to funny.

That line combined with the Nathan Fillion story from the newswire today are making my heart hurt.
