SO true—the brilliance of it didn't click into place until I moved to the DFW burbs; it really captures the kinds of characters you meet here perfectly.

Don't judge me, I acknowledge it can be extremely spotty, but I was shocked at how much of a kick I got out of "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" once I caught it on Netflix.

I was going to say this one too—it's so much fun, great voice cast, and just zips right along. "I've never been in a snowball fight. Is there a points system, or is it…to the death?"

Totally agree. One of the few movies I caught on cable and thought, "Boy, I wish I'd seen this in the theater." In particular, Emma Stone's scenes with Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson are absolutely terrific. "You've been dressing kind of like a stripper. But an expensive stripper, for governers or athletes."

My husband and I watched one of those New Year's Day marathons of The Honeymooners one year and I was consistently surprised at how well Ralph dressed, especially considering that the costumers probably had to custom-make a lot of Gleason's stuff.

I really thought that scene btw Sean & Beverly was killer, and pointed up how weak the rest of the episode was—watching Matt LeBlanc make a series of fake phone calls? Yeesh.

As an adult piano-basics student, I often go to tab/chord sites on the internet and look up pop songs I like, to see how they're structured. It's been fascinating to realize that most are playable by even the likes of me because they don't contain more than 4 basic chords.

I Married Dora was my first experience in life of being able to look at a TV show and say, "I'm a child and even I know this sucks." But I wish every bad cancelled show had a similarly glib finale.

His podcast is so terrific; I'm really glad the AV Club did this interview. The amazing thing is that the episodes I resist the most are also the ones I enjoy the most when I finally get to them.
