Normally I would never watch America's Funniest Videos or The Marriage Ref, but I have found both to be okay for watching with people (the elderly, in-laws) whose TV taste completely opposes my own.

It'd be better than being Christopher and Adriana's kid, that's for sure.

Sorry, from "The Middle." I forgot people around here probably don't watch it.

Aside from being really bad with nutrition and not having a lot of money, Frankie and Mike Heck seem like they'd be great parents. Caring, but just distracted enough that you could get away with stuff.

I thought it was DJ Dia-Beat-It (which is way funnier spoken than written out).

I was stunned when I saw a category that started with "Favorite Book…"  but it turns out it was "Favorite Book Adaptation."

They do a great job on this show of getting you to empathize with Amy, and yet realize that if you knew her in real life you'd probably try to avoid her.

I kept waiting for that Ryan Reynolds plot to go somewhere interesting and it never really did.

For worst, I know the show is beloved, but the Family Ties theme always made me cringe.

You know how everybody has one Kristen Wiig character they actually like? For me, that's Judy Grimes.

Agreed, and "I would plank on your belly for five straight hours" was also pretty funny.

Oh, that reminds me of two I haven't seen yet: for sort of middling shows, 227 and Amen both had terrific theme songs.

It didn't occur to me until I read this AVQ&A that nowadays, pay cable channels really have an advantage when it comes to theme songs and credit sequences, since they have more time to fit them in.
