I'm I the only one that noticed that McGarrigle looked alot like Eamon De Valeria

Confederate war veteran gets revenge on Union soldiers who murdered family. That isn't a cliche d storyline  thats already been done a hundred times.

I wouldn't be suprised if they have Van Alden losing his job as a prohibition agent and going to work for Micky Doyle as a hitman. There's something very existentialist about Van Alden's story arc.

I think they were suppose to be local pineys out hunting and not vagrants. Also the pine barrens are usually portrayed as a spooky mysterious place. After all what other spot of land could produce the venus flytrap and the jersey devil.

Strange things are always happening in the pine barrens.

The thing I like about Liberace's music is how creepily narcisistic it is. The songs that weren't covers were usually about himself.

Benny is Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel. Its nice to see they finally put him in the show. Hopefully we will see more of his psychotic antics later in the season.

I really hope that this doesn't mean their going to set the film in 19th Century. The "Thin Man" belongs in a gilded jazz age and when Hammet said he was trying to make a Agatha Christiesque British golden age of mystery story when he wrote it.

So its going to be a first person perspective film like "Lady In The Lake" only instead of being film noir its going be action movie thats riddled with crappy Tom Clancyesque cliches.
