Yeah, not enough folks talk about how insanely talented Pos and Dove are as lyricists. "I Am I Be" is beautiful; they should be teaching it in lit/poetry classes at University.

Though I do massively hate Diddy most of all for cutting the original Lord Finesse-produced "Come On" from Ready To Die: http://www.youtube.com/watc…

Anyone who can't feel What's The 411? has no soul. And say what you will about a lot of her catalog, Mary has talent.

I love how "Ain't Nuthin' Ta Fuck Wit" sounds pretty much like dudes were rapping over a "pause tape." I've never heard the "Hihache" break sound so nasty.

And arguably their best album? Though the first four are all pretty perfect.

Yeah, pre-Bad Boy Diddy was hard to deny; it wasn't until post-Ready To Die/Project: Funk Da World that dude started to seriously slip.

Whatever, not enough folks have written about Tha Liks. They were seriously great, and I'd rather hear about their stuff then another billionth write-up about Doggystyle.

Man, I hope people remember just how completely unprecedented the Wu were when they came out. The production was beyond gritty and dark; "C.R.E.A.M." sounded like a bleak nightmare, while even "Method Man," with its witty references, sounded like some kind-of horror film. I remember when they used to play the latter

Props on recognizing Tha Alkaholiks and their greatness, but don't slight King Tee like that. Tha Triflin' Album is one of 1993's most criminally slept-on albums and is ever bit as great as 21 & Over (Tha Liks also appear on two tracks on Triflin').
