In all seriousness, I'm not sure I understand why this cover is so objectionable, unless one looks at it from the point of view that it needed to be censored because women (and gay men) are generally stupid enough to forgive a criminal if he falls within a conventional boundary of physical attractiveness?

The Thompson Twins consisted of three band members, not two; none of them were even siblings (let alone either fraternal or identical twins) and none of them were named Thompson.

It is a fair assessment to say that the show "sags" with certain episodes, in that today we expect sitcoms to always push a character's "arc", rather than hit the reset button week after week.  "Sanders" was at its best during later seasons when it pushed a particular narrative from show to show, and these third

It turns out that you had already said what I posted above.  Next time, I need to scroll down first.

For what it's worth, Doucett's limitations enabled her to play the role far more authentically than (perhaps) a broader characterization by a actor with more talent who would be "in on the joke."

I remember when the release date for "Inside Llewyn Davis" was (supposedly) six months ago.  Now it's scheduled for something like four months from now.  Here's the kicker—it probably won't come here to Florida until two weeks after it opens everywhere else, opening five days before Xmas—probably the last week of the

Oops—wrong article.

I did too.

What's more impressive than the Community wiki is the diorama somebody created depicting the editing of the Community wiki.

I'm surprised that it has yet to be referred to as "The iconic Power Glove".

eggsbenedictarnold—Show was great—Dylan did stuff going back to "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" through "Early Roman Kings", with something from every decade—"Tangled Up In Blue", "Love Sick", Blind Willie McTell", etc.  Since I don't really have time for boots, it was very cool to hear present-day Bob singing "Ballad Of

I don't actually hate the album.  I play it maybe once a year.

Back about the time of "Self-Portrait", Dylan had a guy who would actually dig through his garbage and write articles "analyzing" it.  The guy even managed to get Dylan's phone number and call him—and Dylan actually talked to the guy for a few minutes. Then the guy actually sold a tape of the phone call.

"Self-Portrait" will never be as flat-out bizarre as the double-live "At Budokan".

Rumor has "Blood On The Tracks" being the subject of Bootleg Series Vol. 11.  Since the same rumor always had "Self-Portrait" slotted for Vol. 10, and has now been proven true, Ian expanded BOOT—possibly the single most anticipated title by Dylan fans—is now that much closer to the market.

I've only heard the Isle of Wight stuff that is on the original "Self-Portrait", and I'm hearing that Dylan has been accused of including only the worst songs from that gig on the album.  I'm looking forward to hearing the whole show.

I'm so old, I can remember when the film "Arachnophobia" was marketed as a "Thrill-Omedy".

The original 2002 “Larry Sanders” Season One DVD release included only one bonus feature—an interview of Garry Shandling by Tom Shales that was not included on any of the more recent Shout! Factory sets.  It’s a shame, because Shales asked some
fairly smart questions about the show, something that the more recent DVD
