I suspect at this point it's wrong, but not (I hope) gibberish.

Does it have to be all one or the other? Can someone genuinely think them being in charge is the best for everyone, and have a genuine sense of noblesse oblige, and calculatingly display "compassion" for commoners as a route to stability and winning over the populace, in support for that agenda?

Yeah, Oberyn is "queer", sort of, but he's the kind of "bisexual" who has relationships with women, but "plays" with men and women as a kind of hedonistic kink. To the extent that we're tallying gay characters, I don't think he "counts" for very much, though at least it's not his gay behavior that takes him down.

And at the same time, the church has held significant sway in their own right, and has had abilities and political power outstripping any one noble family, and even some European monarchs. It might not be too much to say that the history of Western European from the end of the Empire to the rise of nations is

The gods have called him…

Having a lot more gay characters, and showing them with a wide variety of abilities, limitations, situations, dress and undress and sexual acts would solve many problems that freight the depiction of this or that "kind" of person.

My theory has always[1] been that there are two trials by combat. Cersei's, in which Frankenmountain kills Loras Tyrell, to whom the Faith promises either his or his sister's freedom if he wins; and Margaery's, in which Sandor kills Frankenmountain, who has been poisoned/sabotaged by Qyburn/Cersei so that he loses and

I actually kind of think those magic movies, Now You See Me and its sequel, have the most claim to a current "National Treasure-like" movie.

I'm in there with you.

The Muppet Christmas Carol is pretty faithful.

I don't hate The Da Vinci Code. It was enormously popular and, honestly, introduced a lot of people to the very idea that people assembled The Bible as an explicit act.

The other half of this relationship died pretty fast.

Not due to any animosity for the character or show, just because I expect it to happen and the tension won't subside until it does.

I'm sticking with Loras Tyrrell, I basically won't enjoy the show until he's dead.

For fuck's sake.

There are a lot of bleu cheeses and some of them are milder than others.

I've said something similar (and I'm not the only one) at more or less every stage of Trump's candidacy. No way he'll be taken seriously, no way he'll win a primary, no way he'll win a nomination…

Yeah, I liked it, have watched all of it, and am watching the 5th season, more or less.

Do you have Prince Albert in a can?

Mance Rayder's army and the attached tribes and families numbered much more, but I take 2,000 to be the number of wildlings Jon personally saved from Hardhome and to whom he could reasonably look for loyalty.
