As a parent, I don't really have a problem with the "swear" words "damn", "hell", "ass" or "bitch", although obviously if you call someone a "damn/hell/ass/bitch" that's over the line.

It was news to me when I found out people around here don't Minority Report. I certainly do.

Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny and no, I'm not kidding.

FWIW my eight-year-old really liked it. I really appreciate slow-paced movies that manage to hold little kids' attention. For my part the pace felt slow but never uninteresting and my son obviously felt the same way.

A percolator? So that's how it's done.

I've said this before (a couple times maybe) and perhaps it's time for me to say it again, but I'd love it if the AV Club distinguished themselves by simply omitting letter grades for reviews of all media. It's inherently dismissive and invites people to ignore the critical commentary that is what the AV Club actually

Man, it's really hard to run down that woman, though…

Sorry for duplicating your post.

I believe that Watson buzzed only when it had an answer, which a human contestant isn't obligated to do (you can buzz before you have thought of the answer). But I wish they had made this clearer.

Also looking forward to Carnivale and will probably watch along this time.

I don't think it's more awkward, but the awkwardness cuts close to the bone because it feels a bit more honest. Either way, the reason why it has more impact in Louie is because there's no safety net: Larry may get into awkward situations and his problems may limit him, but the character will always have a pretty

I'll add my lone voice in the wilderness to this opinion. Like any minor nuisance, it seems like to me there's a reasonability standard. Between the two extremes of "Being in this theater is indistinguishable from being completely alone" and "This guy has lifted his iPad in front of my face" there is a gray area of

I hear on Guitarings that they've recorded a new album, and then I hear this about opening for Foo Fighters, yet their site remains unupdated. Let's get the AV Club to do some investigative reporting and get the info on the D, stat.

I loved Your Highness. I would never recommend it to someone else lest they think less of me, but clearly I loved all the same '80s fantasy movies the makers did because it worked for me so hard.
