Don't know if anyone has said this yet, but I collect all the MST box sets and
I have a feeling that these titles won't be on any coming up.
I thought 'why wouldn't they sell those titles to Shout!?  They can't be making money off them.'
And now they've found a way to destroy my hope completely.
Not only are these remakes

R.I.P Jeff.
I loved Slayer, intensely for a long time.  They are all great musicians
(some much better than others), but even if they keep going, I don't think
it'll be even close to the same.  Jeff's sound was so distinct and unique, it was an
integral part of the experience.
Got to see them play Reign In Blood in full

Thanks, I should have read the lyrics.

The line in Squealer 'And I don't think, (he-he) she'll ever ball no more' always puzzled me.
If he was uber macho God, wouldn't she want to ball all the time afterwards?
What exactly will never make her ball again?  Stop being so oblique, AC/DC!

In The Dark by Billy Squire…I'm old.

Late and I'm sure I'm echoing what others have written, but it's just
impossible for me to watch the 'Hurt' video without bawling.
I don't know if there's a more naked walk to the abyss out there, but if there
is, I don't know if I want to know of it.

fuck.

Everything up and including Under the Big Black Sun is gold.
Appreciate them even more now then I did back then.  Just
an amazing band,
Crank "Because I Do' mercilessly.

In the day I drink and lay around.
I drink and smoke your brand and drink…"

  FUN!!

I saw Martyrs about three years ago and it still pops into my head at random
times and makes me cringe.
I bought it, back then, because I was really moved by it and it was all I was
looking for in transgressive  cinema at the time…still have never watched it
again.  Don't know if I ever will but it really did what I

I've never heard much of his stuff but I saw Django Unchained this weekend and
was pleasantly surprised to hear 'Freedom' in it.
It made me think of when I first saw Woodstock on tv as a kid and how great the song is.
 R.I.P.

It doesn't say he was payed 34 million to design it.

And by the way, when you see your mother….

I liked Reactor!

Will really miss this feature and your writing, Scott.
As a viewer that loves my fair share of dark art, reading reviews from writers that
can actually write eloquently and respect the genre are hard to come by.  Thanks.
Also, I really loved the Rapture. Thought it raised some great questions and when
I first saw it

It's full of stars…..
that's the best vid I've seen in a long time.  thx.

Really down that this is going.
Got me to hear Blood Ceremony and
Worm Ouroboros…very good things.
Thanks.

I held out for years buying the dvd because I heard about the transfer and
it's FULLSCREEN! :(
But, after a few years, I didn't see it getting a good release any time soon
so I bought it and it's terrible. Defeats the purpose of watching Malick. Unpardonable.
That was three months ago…thanks Criterion.

R.I.P. Mr. Franco.
Vampyros Lesbos was a staple of past, late night toke hazed viewing.
Great soundtrack, too.
You were one of the heavies of my cult/grindhouse-ish days.

One of my favorite passages ever.
