That, too. And I love it!
He is a brave and bold voice in the wilderness. (Also, he's a hell of a reviewer.)
If it's about Andre Royo's Mayor trying to take back the city from Perlman's corrupt judge and his cronies—then, maybe.
Understood.
I did the pre-air review based on that one episode and had similar reservations. But while I saw how the show was slightly more complex than it seemed then, by the end I kinda stuck with my original assessment. Good, not great. (Although Malek is unquestionably outstanding.)
Call me the AV Contrarian.
Hey, I reviewed both of those! Ha ha haaaa…. ow.
I know—the tech people are looking to rectify a stupid mistake I made. It's still there. If you want to read it, go to my author page. Apologies.
Yeah, they're keeping it vague enough, probably to allow both Burr's Massachusetts roots and Michael Price's New Jersey ones to mesh. One other clue: in the credits sequence, there's a bill from "Eastern Electric," which, admittedly, could be anywhere on the east coast.
Doesn't look like it's coming back any time soon: http://www.avclub.com/tvclu…
Sadly, once again this week, we remained Grossless.
Yup. Jon Rudnitsky. He's not making much of a mark, it's true.
Half agreed!
It's a good question—it hasn't been said, specifically, but there are enough clues (Mohican Airways, the accents) that I've felt comfortable assuming so. Until now…
While I'm glad you're glad I'm reviewing this (I am too!), we've always given Burr a lot of love. His podcast is always getting highlighted on Podmass, and there was just a thing about him profanely making pie crust!
Well, I did get out of there as soon as legally permissible.
I live to LOL you.
We need little nuggets of Rock And Morty to get us through the next, long R&M-less year (and a half?!. I apologize for NOTHING!
It has been fixed. My brain somehow transposed two tall, blonde, sort-of blandly handsome former talk show hosts. Apologies.
Choose Me is a weird, wonderful, strangely beautiful sort-of love story, Highly recommended sleeper… from this guy!
