In this era of superhero movies, moresuperhero movies, and yes, still more superhero movies, we should be grateful for anything that is not a superhero movie

Yes, that was part of the anticlimax—George Hearst gets everything he wants, and leaves. I guess Bullock's "I've never met a bully who wasn't afraid" speech is meant to distract us from the fact, apart from (unknowingly) getting the wrong dead whore, Hearst won a complete victory. Maybe real life works like that,

Point for debate: "Cheers" is the greatest sitcom of all time.

How about the ending? The most out-of-nowhere, shockingly dark ending for a goofy kids' series about talking dinosaurs.

It was a great great show. Ray Sharkey and Kevin Spacey as villains, with gorgeous Joan Severance as Spacey's weird, pervy sister. Great show. Kind of took a dive when Wahl left and they brought in a new Wiseguy, though.

I have a five-year-old daughter, and I think I'm going to have to watch "Cheers" on video with her.

You could just go to golden-era Simpsons

Christ, a "Bewitched" crossover on "Mad Men" would be the greatest thing ever. Not that they should have Samantha twitching her nose or anything. A quick reference to McMahon and Tate would be enough.

Yup. Watch too much of that and you get trapped with people who use words like "yandere".

Yeah. We have to talk about sexual mores in The Fifties and feminist empowerment and sexual politics and whatnot. We can't say that Bettie Page was popular because she had a really hot body.

It's not that hard. Unless you're illiterate.

I agree, the "boo, remakes" line is pretty tiresome. As a matter of fact, the AV Club could have a pretty good Inventory about great remakes. John Huston's "The Maltese Falcon" was the third film version of that story.

God I hate "spoilers" for a movie that's been out for years.

Jesus Christ, the goddamn "My Little Pony" review got 274 comments. God.

I still don't see it. The new page has a "Walking Dead" review and nothing else after "Saturday Night Live"—not this show, not "Hello Ladies", not "Eastbound and Down", and I'm pretty sure there were a couple other Sunday show reviews that have disappeared. I'm afraid to close this window.

Holy Christ, I have the new website up in another browser and I can't find anything. Absolutely horrible.

I dunno, working for the Pinkertons, being a private detective, being a cop from Dead Fake Jimmy's home town—it seemed pretty obvious he was a law enforcement official of some sort.

"We need to have spoilers now for spoiler guessing"

Aren't all the kids named some variation of "Kenny"?

Oh yes, the stunt tits from Season 1. I went through several conflicting emotions:
