I assumed she looked uncomfortable because of how tightly her face was stretched.

One would have to imagine the sex ed you get in a Catholic school to be either 1) piss-poor or 2) non-existent. Is that not the case?

4 years down, 96 to go!

20 years ago is not a spoiler

"Newhart" is up there, but the "Cheers" finale was great, classic TV.

Dana Delany got strangled by her own mom. It lampooned Scientology. Robert Loggia was super creepy.

one day you'll be old

There was another episode where Holly Marie Combs sees one of her classmates Frenching with her own father. The classmate begs her not to tell but of course Combs does. Turns out that dude isn't her father, she's the junior wife in a polygamous Mormon marriage.

"Westinghouse Works, 1904" sounds pretty cool if you want to see how a generator is built.

It's godawful. Look at that cast list. None of those people should be in that movie.

I was a huge fan of Brisco County Jr. Was very disappointed when it got cancelled.

I remember seeing her in something post-90210 and being surprised at how goddamn sexy she was. I had this image of her from "Saved by the Bell" with the '80s hair and clothes and whatnot. Might have been that commercial for "The Ladies Man".

1974 would be interesting. Good movies and bad TV.

They pretty much gave up on the "head" concept towards the end, didn't they? It was all about Herman's workplace and you'd cut back to the head a couple of times for no real reason.

"Northern Exposure" was a top ten hit for some time, until Morrow left and the quality and ratings tanked. Strange days.

I'd rather rip out my intestines with a fork
Than watch you going out with other men
I'd rather slam my fingers in a door
Again and again and again and again and again
I guess what I'm sayin', darlin, is
I'd rather have my blood sucked out by leeches…

"Melrose Place" was very silly and had some drop-dead gorgeous actresses. I enjoyed it. God was Marcia Cross hot.

Allow me to assure you, speaking as someone who graduated from high school in 1991, that not everyone loved "Saved by the Bell". Some of us did in fact recognize it as absolute shit.

"Picket Fences" was a great show. Weird and loopy, and it was funny how all these great constitutional issues kept getting tried in this dinky town's courtroom, but a great show. Don Cheadle was the DA! IIRC David Kelley left the show before that fourth season, and it went straight to hell with amazing speed.

The Blue Jays won the World Series. "Touch 'em all, Joe."
