Actually I watched it because I saw it in the movie store and the box drew comparisons to Devil's Backbone, a film a friend had seen and liked. I only heard the hype after I had seen the movie and decided to check rotten tomatoes.
And I have never seen/read or know anything about Twilight, i mearly assume it is dreck.
Agreed if it's between this and Twilight I'd take this for sure.
I don't get it
and perhaps I never will.
The adoration people have for this movie boggles my mind, it is so boring.
And that scene where the woman bursts into flames, common.
Here's what you do at McDonalds, get two McDoubles and a small fry + a water. Best meal for under $3.50 anywhere.
When was the last time you had McDonalds? They have gotten so much better in the past three years. If youre holding on to past McDonalds transgressions please forgive them.
Did you see Rourke announce her Golden Globe award. He almost said The Award goes to Fucking Sandra Bullock. Go check it out.
A bet
I have made a bet with three three of my friends and it stipulates that if any one of us watches Revenge of the Fallen they owe the other three members $50 a piece.
same here, but not all models can do it.
Girlfriends can't.
Mine looks the same too, only difference is that it says I can watch Blow on demand so that's a plus but not an indie.
Philadelphia, it will help you cope with the AIDS.
Cake
War Pigs and I Will Survive both beat the originals.
a question for Zulkey
I have just started watching Weeds. I thought the first and second seasons were oaky. When you say the characters get awful do you mean they become bad people or the writing gets sloppy making them just shitty characters. I would like to know before I invest more time in the series.
The iPad will have to be changed out regularly as the screen will gradually become spotty.
Please give Claypool's solo stuff a shot. Purple Onion or Of Whales and Woe(check out the Rumble of the Diesel track) would be a good place to start. I wouldn't start with Bucket of Bernie Brains, I thought that album needed the most warming up to.
Oh and if you like Trey Anistasio Oysterhead is a fun band.
here here, I own almost all their movies. No Country is my favorite followed by Barton Fink.
Oates - what do you consider his not so great ones? I've found all of the to be pretty awesome.
My obssession
I'd have to say Primus (actually any Les Claypool) that band got me into bass.
