I don't think I ever realized how sexy Jayma Mays was until I started watching this show. Yowza.

“He was not afraid to cross the line. He attacked! He had no respect for any person, and he was doing his thing to everybody — black, white, Jewish, Asian. I fell in love with him,” the late Bernie Mac said of Rickles in 2004. “I saw the joke, you know? My family saw the joke. My old grandfather, who came from the

I think its both. The concept, and the execution of that concept by the actors.

I saw a production of the play its based on here in Minneapolis (where the writer lives and works—he apparently made some revisions after the movie) and its very good.

That's the major issue. If/When the case is resolved, where does it go from there? Does another crime take place and does Larry leave his professorship to work with Josh and the Team to help? I'm not sure, but that's what seems most likely. But it would have to all take place in East Peck. If you look at a show like

The East Peck Hills dialect in the Coroners office scene truly does defy written description suffice to say, it was hilarious.

"That ball cannot be buried in a Jewish cemetery 'cause it just got tattooed." Best. Home-Run. Call. Ever.
I watched the pilot on my phone (no IFC for me. Sigh) and really enjoyed it. Hoping there's some way I can watch it regularly, as I love Azaria and I think minor league baseball and sportscasters are a great

Everyone loved Mel Blanc, including Jack Benny who went on short vacations with him, sometimes with their families, sometimes he and Blanc would just take off down the road in the car for a couple days to just hang out and crack each other up. The voices Blanc did on that show: store clerks, Carmichael the Polar Bear,

I hope that's a good thing. Thanks!

I currently live in Minneapolis and produce a show called A Drinking Game where we do staged readings of movies with props, costumes, music, both fight and dance choreography, and of course—drinking by both the cast onstage and for the audience. We did OFFICE SPACE a couple years ago and I played Lumberg and Tom. I

Great Random Roles Will! I met Mr. Riehle on several occasions when I lived in L.A. He would often come to see shows at the theatre company I was a member of, Sacred Fools, and we'd talk in the lobby. I was House Manager and was often running the box office, so I'd give him his ticket and program. I know he saw me in

It was a wonderful song and dance number and funny, and Gustin and Benoist were fantastic in it (and the whole episode) but my only question is: When did Barry meet Superman? Never did in the 1st crossover or in the alien invasion crossover either. Maybe if he actually met him he'd be more impressed. Wonder what

He's also the original Anthony in Sweeney Todd. His career started in musical theatre with Godspell as you point out. I worked with him once on a movie and he is a true gentleman and delight.

That's an interesting argument and I agree with it for the most part. I admit that when I played the role of David Wilentz in the play HAUPTMANN by John Logan, I made sure NOT to watch David Paymer playing the same role in a TV movie about the Lindbergh kidnapping and trial.

Great article. Interesting to see the perspective of an adult who hadn't seen this film.

Thanks!

ARGHH! I forgot to set my DVR for this and completely missed it due to rehearsal last night! Damn! I'm going to have to remember it. From the commercials, to the articles here and now this review, it sounds hilarious. I love Lithgow so much, and its a joy to have him be back on TV being in a pure comedy.

I love this.

It was THE DORK FOREST with Jackie, one of my favorite podcasts. https://tdf.libsyn.com/tdf-… The podcast D'Angelo is going to do is going to be with Moon Zappa. I mean, come on! It's going to be insanely good. Her appearance on TDF is fantastic too.

You're very welcome. Hope your friend's kid enjoys them!
