I liked the songs by The Carrie Nations all right in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. The excessive Brady Nodding, however, almost turns me against them.

Is Sony replacing Harmon so that we'll all feel more comfortable, and perhaps relieved, with its inevitable cancellation after the fourth season?

When Troy proudly proclaimed himself the "truest repair man," I was expecting him to echo the 'man'. Instead, it seems I was just mildly, mildly racist.

I vaguely remember The Cat Returns as being an awful translation. Far too many uses of the word 'cool'.
YES
So much for Steve Carell's guess: http://www.thedailyshow.com…
Why does Iron Man bounce a shot off Captain America's shield to kill a baddy? Is it just more nonsense geometry like when Captain America got trapped by four intersecting lines of fire in his titular movie?
That's how I saw that scene. Megan now moves very purposefully through life while Don is confronted with how routinely he handles his. He probably would've walked right through if he hadn't just been grappling with the world behind Megan's eyes.
If Cabin in the Woods is the conclusion to what a long-form Initiative story would look like, The Avengers is it's actual conclusion (i.e., "The Yoko Factor").
fuuuuuck.
Is Sterling's joke about not wanting to have a baby because, "why do that to somebody?" a Marc Maron joke (or, rather, each of their ex-wives' jokes)?
Had I had my ear to the ground back in Season 3 of Lost, I might've been quick to despise Nikki & Paulo, too. However, I hadn't even registered them as new characters until just before I saw Expose, so that's almost entirely what I judge them on. And that episode is pretty good! It's basically a Scary Stories scary…
When I saw the picture, I thought the implication was that The Godfather: Part III is an otherwise fantastic movie except in its opera scene. And it's not even the implication of the former statement that I'd find most unusual, but the later part. I love that opera scene! The suspense and action involved with…
Not sure how I feel about the Cap, though. He provided a nice balance to most of the other characters' snarkiness. I particularly loved when he took control of the climatic battle (Hulk? Smash!).
This episode could have completely turned things around by having a guitarist perform at Star-Burn's memorial with an inappropriately bright smile.
I actually liked Black Widow a lot and really wanted to rank her higher. I completely understand reducing the presence of Maria Hill and Hawkeye, but Nick Fury was the only character among all the ten that I felt deserved a better portrayal.
With so many characters involved, I was happy that all were at least well-handled. In any other movie, one or a few of these characters would make an out-of-character decision just to advance the plot. So, what I'd prefer to judge (or rank), rather than say "good movie" "bad movie," is how well the film handled each…
Yeah, fuck you, Chris, and everything—but deserved props for running a marathon.
