Fans of American Gods might find this interesting
'I'm glad they're gone, then; but what made the People of the Hills go away?' Una asked.

I've never read these books, and one reason is that I assume that if I pick one up I'll just be like, "Shit, if I'm reading a Swedish mystery, why am I reading this and not another Martin Beck novel?"

The Soft Boys had my favorite anti-music-journalist song title
"The Lonesome Death of Ian Penman." The song isn't much, though.

This review spends half a sentence describing the music

St Dominic's Preview
the title track and "Almost Independence Day" are both fantastic - though it's odd, the title track pretty much grabs its melody from "The Wind Cries Mary," and "Bulbs" steals that line about the streetlights all turning blue.

STOP IT
JUST FUCKING STOP IT

"Snow in San Anselmo" fucking owns.
