Is she, though?
Is she, though?
And yet 1994 is regarded as maybe the best year in hip-hop history (1996 is up there too) with the release of Illmatic, Ready to Die, and Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik among others ushering in a new era no longer centered in NY or LA but abetted with the rise of the South and the Midwest.
And he ended the decade with You Can Count on Me.
She didn't "have an affair with a teacher" - due to the massive power imbalance between a high school junior and a teacher in his mid-30s, consent isn't possible.
Land of Fire!
Ilana on Broad City did refer to it as "nature's pouch" and stored her weed there in the pilot.
That was kind of a giveaway that the article was written by a woman. It is indeed an A5 which is pretty much the upper limit for most tenors in 'chest' voice (auditions for rock/pop musicals usually ask for guys to top out there or B5).
Daddy drank for the government.
I'm right in the age sweet spot where I both watched this show when it originally aired and also played drinking games while watching the reruns on Nick G&S in college.
It's already been re-painted - by the Parks Department, the municipal agency responsible for that. The rally is to show that the community is better than that hateful symbol and won't stand for it.
Oh yeah - I think Ruiz and Rodriguez are dancers first and singers second.
Yup - as it's lighter than air, once it's gone into the atmosphere, it's not coming back. It's harvested from underground fields and as mentioned upthread, the newly found one in Tanzania is kind of a godsend.

"I know what the Dan likes!"
Where do you stand on Bowie's "Blackstar"?
I'm really enjoying the underscoring of scenes with motifs and melodies from last season. There was "You Stupid Bitch" during the breakup scene and the intro to "Settle for Me" as Greg was watching Rebecca before he saw the 'Danger' sign.
Then don't buy the mixtape and just listen to the original album?
You're right that many people still haven't seen the show, but the cast album is what's fueling its popularity with a much broader base. It opened at #1 on the Billboard Hip-Hop charts and hit #3 overall, which is unheard of for a Broadway musical.
She was an amazingly gifted teen actress. There was a naturalism to her work that can't be overlooked. You watch Dakota Fanning, for example, and there's a mannered-ness to everything that never lets you forget she's 'acting'. Lohan at the same age was miles ahead.
