I'm not saying he isn't attractive, but the Bond he projects is consistently a selfish bastard who doesn't care who gets hurt as long as he gets what he wants.

Side note: Garland was short because of a small torso. When she and Mickey Rooney sat side by side, he was taller but when they stood next to each other, she towered over him.

Connery and Dalton got both the cold killing machine and the irresistible playboy. Moore and Brosnan were sexy but I didn't buy them kicking anyone's ass for a second. Craig is a killer but other than the attraction to danger, I don't get how women fall for him.

I heard this comment in Kate McKinnon's 'Deenie' voice.

I did see this movie while high as fuck when it hit the Film Forum in NYC. It is meditative/contemplative but I don't know if I'd call it serious. Things happen and the people just kinda roll with it. There are definitely some bits of humor but they are more of the observational kind than setup-punchline.

Different spellings - Ryan has one N and Jordan two.

The Mets still hold the record from the start of a franchise - they were founded in 1962 and didn't get one until 2012 so the Padres have a few more years (and a couple hundred more games) to go.

Psych was such a lightweight show and yet had SO MUCH care put into its seeming effortlessness.

I actually thought it was a good follow up to the running theme that everyone overlooks the middle child Emery. There's been a mention of him being ignored or forgotten in a number of previous episodes and this week he finally exploded.

I gotta call BS on that - Midwesterners and Southerners may be more overtly polite, but that does not necessarily mean friendlier. There can be a lot of silent "fuck you"s and "get out"s in their eyes and in their tones when they're showering you with courtesies. Northeasterners tend to be more direct and coarser but

The show said that they were close as children but it seemed pretty clear that they were living completely separate lives by the time Rhonda was arrested for Scotty's crimes.

I think Scotty and Arthur kept their relationship secret from everyone as a) Arthur was an extremely high-ranking general in the Army who wasn't about to become the flag bearer for gay rights and b) any disclosure of their relationship might have gotten one or both of them disqualified from the Savior project.

She wasn't, but part of her contrast in the public eye to Kerrigan was that she was short, thickly built and won on strength and power. She was everything the (relatively) tall, thinner and graceful Kerrigan wasn't. Robbie of going to have to make some severe 'Monster'-style changes to bring that aspect to life.

This kid is starring in two well-reviewed indie films being released on the same day. Congrats to you, young Master Lieberher.

Tax breaks - some states/cities give major rebates/credits to entice studios to film there. New York City is one; Georgia and Louisiana give big credits as well.

Hans (South African student being trained in spycraft by Elizabeth) killed Todd (SA student working with apartheid gov't forces) after Todd was helping Ventnor (SA intelligence) plant bombs to discredit the anti-apartheid movement. Todd witnessed Philip and Elizabeth torture/kill Ventnor so Hans had to eliminate him.

Yeah, it's not going to take a huge leap of logic to notice that your ex-boyfriend was killed (supposedly) by Gregory in service to the KGB at the same time you started seeing someone you now know is a spy.

I hope you're watching The Americans.

To be ambivalent would mean you love and hate it in equal measure.
