And the funny thing is that they never even asked to see the tickets. They just told people which theatre to go to - no questionnaire, no post-film reactions, nothing.

I was at the NY screening and I agree with mizerock that it's more "bone-dry" for some very long stretches. It felt a lot longer than its 110-minute runtime. Whitacre's observations in voiceover, while a great window into his mind, could have been cut down a lot. The film is pretty repetitive for the first hour…
This was the first thing that I thought of when I saw this filmon the main page sidebar. The interplay between Peirce and Paulson added a whole new level of humor to this movie when I saw it a couple years ago. Paulson is adorable as you say (but then I've loved her since she was Myrlie on American Gothic -…
I disagree - Pete fumbles his way through his question, realizes he's being a dumbass, pauses and says Hollis must like baseball, not because he's black, but because he's a man. Hollis smiles and cedes the point.
Pete and baseball
Pete's my favorite character so this was a great ep for me. He's always been prescient about things (sci-fi in season 1, the benefits of lobbying in season 2) and I liked the fact that even after the awkward convo with Hollis, he was able to find common ground with baseball.
I hated all the 'will they/won't they' between Starbuck and Apollo, especially later in the show's run. My breaking point was the boxing match episode where they end up beating the shit out of each other in front of the entire military.
No "Disturbing Behavior"?
Not a great film by any means, but the idea of parents willingly having their kids lobotomized into model students should have made the list.
They did replace Bobby (Jared Gilmore for Aaron Hart).
He also blew up the female drug lord early in the first season.
BBCA aired the first two seasons of M&W as part of a comedy block with Little Britain and Catherine Tate last year.
Mi-5 was originally sold to A&E years ago in the wake of Alias' short-lived success. I think they stopped airing it after series 6. It still shows up occasionally on a few PBS affiliates (including WLIW 21 in NY).
Who needs Olive Garden when you've got Bertucci's?
Not quite sure what you mean by that - she's glammed up and in the catsuit she (unfortunately) only wore once in the show, but she's always been written as Latina (at least on her mother's side) in the TV show.
I too found Torchwood incredibly uneven over the first two seasons. Killing off asshat Owen and pathetic mopey Tosh in the s2 finale helped.
uhh, here's another one
#!*@ You Tonight by Biggie Smalls with R. Kelly.
I was another who found Torchwood uneven but I recommend CoE to any sci-fi fan. Davies cut down a lot on the cutesy banter, the lack of sadsack Tosh pining over asshole Owen is an improvement, and the stakes feel high yet realistic (not like season 1's crappy Armageddon monster finale). Gwen's monologue about the…
He's a very underrated comic actor - he's in the pilot of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and was the guest lead on an episode of Psych, "Zero to Murder in 60 Seconds".
Bored now
Yes, "The Wish" is the source of that quote and VampWillow, which fueled many a fanfic back in the day.
Trappist beer.
Plus Dwight has been written as much less of a dick since he and Michael broke up.
