New Orleans, Represent! And they said our schools were some of the worst in the country. Pshaw.

Neophyte-It's not the first time.
Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy were one of the most popular acts on the radio in the '30s. In fact, one of the main reasons Orson Welles' War of the Worlds 1938 broadcast caused so much uproar was because it was opposite the show Bergen was on. He always led off the show; people

I grew up with Willie Tyler & Lester. And that guy on Soap. Those guys were great.

Agreed-Generations is the only one I actually hate. The Enterprise-E gets blown out of the sky (again) by an army surplus Warbird? Data paralyzed with fear? The Hell?? Just bad writing all around.
As far as the whale one is concerned, Nimoy directed and wrote that one; two of his personal causes are whales and nuclear

Seconded on Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. Silver Streak and Stir Crazy are classic. See No Evil, not so much, but hey, Joan Severance boobs.

Jesus, mbs, did you lose a bet or something?

The Mexican was o.k.; how could a movie with James Gandolfini, J.K. Simmons, Bob Balaban, and that kid from numbers be totally bad?

I get Mario Batali A LOT. Despite the fact that 1) I'm not really a redhead and2) I wouldn't be caught dead in the same time zone as Gwenyth Paltrow. Or neon Crocs for that matter. But it's good for an occasional free drink.

Clancy Brown

I do remember that, but I avoided it specifically because of the Limp Bizkit song. I too was pleasantly surprised.

"Fashion Designer Catapulted to Infamy By Domestic Hairball!!! Misses Jail Time By A Whisker-Neither Target Nor Weapon Feline Need To Press Charges!!!

Denny's. Fundamentalists go to Denny's. Of course that's really stretching the definition of "normal people restaurant".

I totally would have helped but my potato skins were getting cold.

South Carolina's state constitution used to set the age of consent for unmarried women at 14. Up until last year anyway-now it's 16.
Too soon to tell whether this has affected spring break tourism.

I enjoyed Love Actually too, in a total non-ironic way. One thing though; I can't watch Bill Nighy in anything else without seeing Billy Mack. This actually makes Underworld better.

When my neighbor finally joined the cd age in the mid 90's, he basically gave me his cutting-edge-circa-1975 Marantz system. Turntable, tuner, 50 lb amp, real wood speakers (not veneer). Awesome sound, wish I still had it. An Ipod just doesnt compare.

Possibly not the only reason…do you live in Florida?

::holds up lighter::

Riff-Was that one story or two?

How the hell did Tiny make the squad anyway? Was he like a Make-A-Wish kid or something?
I alway preferred Starblazers anyway. Kickin' theme song.
