How does the Susan G. Komen thing relate to this kind of situation? That doesn't seem to have anything to do with idols disappointing people or abandoning a cause. Or are you saying that the Komen foundation was turning breast cancer into a scause?

I totally agree that's the problem—they should have some consultant who can explain to them how to write a believable business situation. Instead they have it make so little sense Jim looks like a patsy even if they intend him not to be.

Yeah, I really don't get how it's supposed to work. Except that I guess originally the partner understood Jim couldn't put in any money but brought him in anyway. So it could be that Jim sees investing as a necessity in order to claim any part of it, while Pam's trying to minimize his involvement by keeping the…

I don't think the idea is that he always gets stymied. He's gotten promotions, they used to show him having good ideas for the company occasionally, he probably would have gotten the corporate job over Ryan. I think it's more that they just like to show him floundering when he starts something new—especially where…

But her questioning of events wasn't about them scamming him, because the whole reason she was angry was that he gave them money without them even bringing it up. As I understood the sequence of events, Pam and Jim agreed that they could go in for 10,000 at the most. That was "doing it right" as Pam said. But she was…

But my point is, we're talking about a compulsion to kill here, but glossing over it by lumping it in with alcoholism A baby born addicted to something is an actual chemical dependence. Dexter could very well have been born predisposed to being a serial killer, and it's implied that his early experiences sent him…

Really enjoyed this ep, but isn't it a total unnecessary euphemism to call Dexter a junkie? He's a serial killer, which is a different thing. He had the urge to kill before he started killing, which is why he started killing. He didn't try killing and become addicted to it. That, to me, is the darker issue they ought…

I agree about the triangle in general, but where's Andy actually been abusive to Erin?

At this point it's almost more of a Toby thing than a Michael or Andy thing. He inspires hate in people.
