*fatuous
Really?
This might be the laziest feature I've ever seen. It's like something you'd see from the local forum cut-up or something.
What about that western FPS that Lucasarts put out back in the late 90s? That was pretty fun.
Yeh, the animation in Fallout was really alarmingly shitty.
I can still blame things on the blacks though, right?
I thought this book was supposed to be funny. Shouldn't he be posing with a rubber chicken or something?
Hooooooooo-kay.
"that psychiatric hospitals are insitutions created to lock up nonconformists (or, as some have said, enemies of the bourgeois status quo) is a lazy, outdated cliche"
From what I've heard acetaminophen(Tylenol) is the worst. Apparently it causes liver failure which can take several days of excruciating pain before it finally kills you, but there's little that can be done if you're not treated soon after you ingest it. You're basically stuck in that "on the way down" phase for days.
"You do know that Led Zepellin is one of the most famous 'joke' names in rock? "
I'm not against flatly against attempts to be amusing. I'm against this because it represents "humor" that is not only completely vapid but also thoroughly unoriginal.
"Pop Will Eat Itself.. Godspeed You Black Emperor.. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.. We are Scientists.. They Might Be Giants."
"I'd argue that the The Who and Led Zeppelin only confirm to traditional rock band naming conventions with the benefit of hindsight"
*traditional rock BAND
The difference with the Beatles as well as the Who and Led Zeppelin, mentioned earlier, is those names at least conform to traditional rock bank naming conventions. Here it's like they (wrongly) think their joke is so funny that it justifies ignoring those conventions.
Yes, that might be funny if I hadn't been hearing the same one-note jet pack/flying car joke for-fucking-ever.
Horrible band name and I'm probably not going to give them a shot as a result, just because I don't want to have to say it if someone asks me what I'm listening to. It's a joke premise that was already cliche 10 years ago.
Hey, me too
I had a similar caffeine pill "suicide attempt" when I was 17. I didn't puke (fucking lightweight, Nathan) but I remember my whole body went numb and I was really spaced out for a few hours. I actually managed to get to "sleep," but woke up like an hour later (which felt like minutes) and spent the rest of…
I was in high school when it came out and I'd drink it pretty regularly. It wasn't nearly as bad as everyone says.
