you are correct, sir.

an older ex-hippie guy who ran the indie video store i used to frequent told me that a lot of white people felt real uncomfortable about this movie, and not just for that scene.

i think your tongue has to be firmly in cheek to say Sngmoo

yee yee, i've definitely wasted an hour or ten there, and i am by no means a gun person.

are you one those dudes who edits the internet movie firearms database?

wu-tang

sigur ros got wedged into another comment. i agree, though.

and i will say that dave from municipal waste is a solid dude.

shellac seconded. i'm amazed it took this long for them to be mentioned, really, because they've got fucking chops and trainer kills the damn drums.

saw them play in some little room at american university years back. i think action patrol opened. there was no stage and it was uncomfortably loud. the end.

i'd been a casual fan, but seeing them live made me a believer. maybe the third loudest show i've attended.

i was hoping someone would mention mogwai- seeing them at the 930 was far and away the loudest thing i've ever experienced (yes, i've seen manowar, too) and left my ears buzzing for days. i wouldn't travel far to see many bands, but i'd consider mogwai road trip-worthy.

i kinda want to see it, but only because of the breathed cartoons.

@captain giggles- seriously.

yes. maybe not "much" better, but better, although tip certainly loses the charisma battle.

huh, bet there aren't many yale/RISD/columbia/warren wilson crossover students out there.

years on, that movie still makes me uncomfortable. other than that, i really can't decide how i feel about it, because pretty much all the characters are terrible people.
