good call.

"what's a busy signal?"
while making a call on behalf of two girls from a local university, i got a busy signal. when i told them of said signal and that i would have to try calling back, they looked at me like i was crazy. after an awkward moment, one of them asked for an explanation, so i told them that a busy

i'm wondering if this is north korea's plan- they're waiting for the rest of us to lose electricity and then, while we're all depressed about not being able to play x-box live, stomping the shit out of us with ww2-era weaponry.

'merican, i'm with you on the fact that, as a whole, the population has never been as well-educated as it is right now (and how different doesn't necessarily mean worse). what worries me is specialization- everyone has cars, mobile phones, computers, etc- but how many people understand how they work, much less how to

so racists are the only people that truly love america and democracy

i'm with gasbag- not enough ridiculous or awesome to be good or so-bad-it's-good.

it's probably my least-favorite book-to-movie adaptation. my roommate, who had not read the book, needed a lot of clarification after it was over.

what futurechimp said- they didn't want to end a movie with SPOILER ALERT a kid dying, so they castrated it in the hopes that people would be willing to check out the sequel. fortunately, considering how god-fucking-awful the movie was, they weren't. love the shit out of the books, though.
