Isn't 1999 generally considered one of the absolute best years of movies in history? The kind of year you only get every two or three decades? I'm not really a scholar of film history, but I think that's right.

The eLeague tournament itself has been pretty great. Go Xian!

Indeed. In fact, Holden's "solution" was pretty much exactly what happens in the movie Threesome (starring Laura Flynn Boyle , Stephen Baldwin, and Josh Charles, and holy shit is that a bitch of a movie to try and Google from work), which came out just a few years before Chasing Amy.

Agreed. Now a porcupine, on the other hand . . .

Blink. Were you in college 10 years in the future? Because how could someone old enough to have already attended not have at least heard of any of those artists? How god-damned old am I that college students are now young enough to be completely ignorant of such things? Get off my lawn!

That's awesome.

I just re-watched the Blues Brothers on HBO a couple of nights ago. And holy hell did it make me feel old. Mainly because, Blues Brothers was the first R rated movie I ever saw, when I caught it on HBO at a friends house when I was probably 8 years old (I think I was in second grade, which would make it around

Now that is a call back in joke worthy of MST3K. But it needs more dot matrix.

Funny when Kurt said it, funny when Kurt died, still funny 10 years later.

I will never not upvote this reference. You have truly become the Highlander.

Oh god, I know that sigh.

Same here, and it's not the rules which get me, it's typing them out. I know the difference between it's and its, too and to, and that you don't have to put an apostrophe before the "s" when making a name plural. But I cannot for the life of me translate that knowledge into my typing habits.

Aubrey Plaza is also credited as a producer on this.

To be more specific, the seed of April/Andy was really sown in the finale of season 1, where April is totally on board with Mouse Rat. Which apparently was indeed improvised by Plaza. The writers thought it opened up the possibility of new pairing on the show, leading to their awesome Season 2 relationship.

It's a twist that makes sense if you've read the books.

Both DiCaprio and she were amazing in that movie. The scene where she frees him from custody is just devastating.

No kidding. Those things are ridiculously overpriced for the sonic performance you get.

If I read correctly, Dylan was voiced by Laura Silverman, who also does the voice of one of the Pesto twins. Meaning there might be a better than usual chance she will be a recurring character.

Wow. I just learned that CSI and NCIS are two different things. I had no idea. Now I have no fucking idea what NCIS is, even with the acronym explanation from the video. It's technically not just CSI- Boats?
