This was my weekend for dystopian futures. I played a bunch of Borderlands with my roommate, plowed through book two of The Hunger Games, and watched the latest episode of Mad Men. Man, we're all going to drink so much in the 2260's!

I played a lot of Dark Souls and caught up on a lot of Doctor Who. I'm in Anor Londo and mid-first season Matt Smith, respectively. Out of curiosity, what makes someone a gamer, then, if not playing tons and tons of video games your entire life?

I didn't quit the game. I quit playing *for the night.* Picked right back up later.

Um, I am a gamer. I mentioned it a few times in the article. Memory Wipe assumes that we're familiar with what we're experiencing again, as an adult.

What would you have liked to have been said about the games themselves? (Honest question.)

I think the problem isn't that he spoke about art, but that Solomon asked him very specific questions about passages in the book, even asking him to recount, in detail, this one story that's part of it. It's cool to dig into something, but not when no one else has had a chance to experience the thing you're digging
