There's a fairly big difference between respecting someone with an opinion that you disagree with and respecting someone who regularly espouses hateful bigotry and financially supports organizations that go about demonizing and stripping rights from a minority group.

But all of the commenters on the Youtube video of the trailer seem to adore it!
