Not sure old hippies are the kind of people that African Catholic orphanages like to place people with.

In university I knew a woman from an Indian family who was extremely torn between her progressive politics and relationships with non-Indian people on the one hand, and her family's heritage and traditions on the other. She would rail against the expectations they had of her and complain about having to hide her

I think it just means that Freema Agyeman and Anupam Kher are big enough names that they were signed as part of the regular cast, rather than as guest stars.

"I wouldn't want to spoil the fairytale."

It wasn't made explicit, but I remember Fuller talking about it in connection with how Hannibal got Abel Gideon into Frederick Chilton's basement.

Better catch her before she falls back into the toaster!

Those are some stylish and attractive staffmembers, there.

I won't ever complain about a The Howling-style bipedal man-wolf hybrid, but I do enjoy a more classic The Wolf Man-style, er, wolfman when I can get it.

It is sad news, but there's virtually as much green-screen and CGI in Fury Road as there is practical stunt work. None of the cars were moving when there were people leaping around, for instance - the background was green-screened in and the wheels were made to turn with CGI. I was eating Ben and Jerry's Triple Caramel Chunk through this episode.

I had the impression that Whispers, Jonas, and Angelica were from the same cluster.

Well, I can't do Rod Serling anymore.

Easy enough to not know. Garrett's grandmother wasn't there, so presumably she's dead. Didn't look like Polly was in any shape to be explaining that she recognises Garett's mother as her niece, and it could have been his dad that was Polly's nephew. Et cetera.

I thought that you needed Max Rager plus Utopium to make a zombie.

I recently rewatched the first few episodes. Rosa's voice there is just as flat and hard, but it's not as deep as Beatriz would make it later. It's closer to her actual speaking voice in pitch.

They got four seasons out of The Sing Off, although to be fair the fourth only came about because Pitch Perfect became a cult favourite.

You're definitely not wasting your time responding over and over in a thread discussing the sequel to a movie you hated.

I'm assuming the mist affecting the fish (or anything else at the bottom of the ocean) will be a plot-line next season. People eating fish will probably start dying from the mist or something.
