I haven't watched Arrow since Laurel died, and I was actually somewhat enjoying his season till then. She wasn't even my favourite character, but killing her just really pissed me off. She seemed to me like the one character that actually had more stories in her. I think reading the recaps of the episodes since then,

SPOILERS, I guess

"I guess if Aisha Tyler can play a white woman on Friends then it's OK" made me laugh hysterically.

Ahh thanks, I thought they would have tried to convince viewers they'd planned it all from the start.

Seriously, could they not have given Laurel anything to do this season other than give reassuring advice to Oliver? Maybe a multi episode trial arc, or even just an isolated episode with the Black Canary and Green Arrow taking names? It seems like they decided 3 episodes ago that Laurel would be the one to die, and

Fun fact: I saw this movie the same day that I saw Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty

Did anyone else think the cop that took Lance's badge and gun was going to gun down Lance and Laurel instead? I slightly hoped for it too, even though I don't mind those 2. This show just needs fewer characters.

I've seen a lot of people saying that this was bad after watching Daredevil season 2, but I felt the opposite. I liked Daredevil well enough, but it was so dark, and by the end of the season I was tired of the ninja fights, the nonsensical Black Sky story, and the drawn out Punisher conspiracy, all of which which

My number one question of the season: Why was the assistant to the DA credited as a main character? He barely did anything, and was so unmemorable (at least, to me).

30 Rock, The Office, Community, Parks and Rec or some beautiful combination of the four always does the trick for me.

-I thought this was completely ridiculous and terribly plotted, but it was quite entertaining.
-Scully driving through the traffic jam was just completely awful, she could have at least had a siren so people knew she was law enforcement.
- I haven't seen any of the Doggett/Reyes seasons yet, but even I found her

I watched Blue Ruin for the first time a few days ago, and loved it, so I was looking forward to the director's next even before I knew the plot. Now I know it I'm even more excited.

Some thoughts:

I'm not quite hating this season, but with the first half being too bothered to set up the spinoff, and the blandness of Zoom, I'm losing interest. I really hope the third season has a much different villain, and a few standalone episodes

Malcolm Merlyn on Arrow. I liked him as the villain in the first season, but it's completely ridiculous how often the other characters seem to forget that he's killed hundreds of people, including his son, and that he drugged his daughter to kill one of her friends.
