I suggest staying away from current continuity because it is laborious and unnecessary to figure out all the boring bullshit that's currently being written about.

I don't get the "WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CONTINUITY?!?!" argument. I was talking to a comic book shop owner the other day and he said "I find it disrespectful when new writers come in and ignore all the years of history before them. They are just trying to appeal to your generation."
