I'll need to check it out.

It did for me when I re-watched The Poseidon Adventure, I was absolutely buckled watching him play it straight as the captain.

What a pisser.

I need to watch this again, really enjoyed it on first time viewing.

It turned into a hardcore sex discussion site so gradually I didn't even notice.

Pete's angry retort to Don's proposed golf attire was just beautiful.

I'm fine for a torch - I usually just carry a midget and set his hair on fire when joining a vengeful mob. Saves me having to cruelly chop down a tree to use.

I kinda sort of agree with what he's saying but I'm happy to go with the mob mentality. Let's get him!

Oddly enough someone suggested I watch it even though I'm not a fan of his, apparently this would be the one to win me over.

I saw it twice as well, fortunately on both occasions on an IMAX screen. I would happily sit through it again if it returned to that format but I wouldn't watch it on DVD.

We're only just now being introduced to him here in the UK.

"I once folded a woman into a suitcase"

I'm afraid so, I just found it to be excessively earnest at times. As I said it's not that I hate his films, I admire them in many ways but have little desire to revisit them.

I would now have True Grit in my top 3 Coen brothers films. Along with No Country and O Brother.

I dunno, I love Boogie Nights but everything PTA has done since has just left me a little cold. On a technical level his films look magnificent and the actors generally give intense, all consuming performances but I have never felt fully involved when watching them.

I don't think it's a great film by any means but I haven't laughed in the cinema for a long time like I did when the Lemmons start to take effect.

My least favourite Coen's film.

Some truly outstanding films in this selection - Amour, Martha Marcy, Inception, Melancholia and Take Shelter.

The Act of Killing is an astonishing film but it's one of those that I'm not sure I ever want to watch again. An emotionally draining, horrific yet mesmerising piece of work.

I love Arnold's work but I have to admit I'm a little apprehensive at the prospect of this.
