Indeed, I found it to be a pleasant surprise!
Indeed, I found it to be a pleasant surprise!
I disagree, it was as fun as the show has ever been!!!!!!!!!!!!
An episode I enjoyed a ton. Not a lot of laughter but still much fun.
A reasonably solid season right up until this nosedive of an episode. Sheldon's slaves jibes were crass and deeply unfunny and the Penny-Leonard story just utterly ridiculous. Even Amy's reaction to Sheldon's ass slap didn't deliver the laugh I thought it would. Perhaps by then I had lost all hope that this episode…
Appreciate the update and pleased to hear some of the features of the old site will return.
I've tried to get my head round this redesign over the last couple of days but sorry guys - I know you've probably put a lot of work into this but I think it's an absolute mess. The TV Club section in particular is a disappointment and losing the 'my shows' function is frustrating not to mention a search function…
Every time I travel through from Glasgow to Edinburgh I remember this episode. Everything there is just a little bit…off.
God there's a lot of hatred for this show on here, even more so than usual.
Yeah reading this just makes me want to go back and watch it all again from the start.
We're a week or so behind here in the U.K I'm not sure anyone will still be commenting here but anyway - I believe this season has simply got stronger and stronger as its progressed. This latest episode was an absolute knockout, thanks in no small part to the character of Libby taking centre stage for much of it. She…
I went along with my brother and his boy to see it at a drive-in showing last week. Hadn't seen it for some time and thought it stood up as strong as ever. It did seem a little more adult than I remembered, perhaps not helped with the awkwardness of watching it with my 12 year old nephew.
I haven't read the 419 other comments yet but I'm presuming someone, somewhere has picked on the quite terrible overacting from the extras in the basketball scenes, particularly the kid next to Ted.
I'm a God. I'm not *the* God…I don't think.
Wasn't a great fan of this episode but the conversation between Arthur and Leonard about his friendship with Sheldon was great to see, think we were long overdue an explanation about why Leonard puts up with him. Other than that there wasn't much to write home about, the Raj/Howard stuff we've seen a million times…
My parents were really strict when it came to TV. Ultra tame Aussie soaps Neighbours and Home & Away were a big no-no so my sisters used to sneak off to their friends to watch it. Grange Hill, a school based drama, was also off the menu as were most sitcoms including Cheers.
Delighted to see season 1 getting a thorough inspection. l would've liked to revisit the first season whilst the reviews are posted but my friend borrowed seasons 1 and 2 seven months ago and still hasn't watched them. For shame.
He has indeed, I went to see him here in Glasgow last year. James are planning a new album for 2014.
Holy Shit - one of my all time favourite albums gets a mention on AV Cub, I hadn't even clicked when the first 1993 article came up this week that it might be mentioned. The single is a terrific, all energy pumped up pop tune which in a way seems out of place with the other more pared down songs on the album like…
Nah sorry Donna but that fell far short of A material for me regardless of the emotional heft it delivered in its closing moments. Can't think of one laugh out loud moment.
An excellent article.
