Terrific episode.
Terrific episode.
'The Funky Phantom'
Listened to this the other day and was very impressed. Nice to know the band can still sound fresh and inventive after a slightly lesser previous album.
And it was Hank's 30th birthday the day they shot that scene - being terrified by Pacino is a not bad present.
And then he realises he simply can't let go until vengeance is delivered - his facial expressions whilst coming to that conclusion was fantastic.
It's good but relies on a fairly huge coincidence to deliver its last half hour. That said it's a rare electrifying performance from Cruise.
Whilst Bert can only dream of having balls to be felt.
I was all set for merely saying:
I don't like this.
I think I smell a rat..
Bit late to the game and like many others it was probably my dad who had the greatest influence. Mostly with films - he was obsessed with Laurel & Hardy which was thrust upon me very early on. It didn't take long for them to have the same impact on me, something which continues to this day. My mum and dad also…
Well he's right but still comes across like a bit of a c*** if we're being honest.
Die Hard 3 was miles ahead of 2 - had some sense of originality, a much better villain, good action sequences and plenty wisecracking dialogue.
Apologies if already mentioned but for me it was Ally Sheedy in The Breakfast Club. Everything about her was perfection (yes even the horrible sandwich she makes) right up to to the moment they decide she needs a makeover.
The one with the box was great mainly for Monica's rant about the others when they were having a go at her: "married a lesbian, left a man at the altar, fell in love with a gay ice dancer, threw a girl's wooden leg in the fire, live in a box."
I've very nearly chucked that show after season 1 which I really didn't enjoy. We're now onto season 2 here in the U.K and I'm glad I continued with it, much funnier than the first.
Could you be any more wrong?
Phoebe really was annoying right from the off, never liked that character.
Going to my high school reunion would probably be the most painful, awkward and downright depressing things I could ever do.
I am going to try and make a point of re-watching each episode every Wednesday and then coming here to read the reviews.
