It is of course early days but I can't help being a little concerned (as some others on here also appear to be) that Weiner feels the 'Don is having an affair'  story is still fresh and exciting enough to use 6 seasons in. I trust Weiner won't use it as the centre point for the entire season.

My friend and I's go to quote whenever religion comes up in conversation.

That was the line that got the biggest chuckle from me.

I agree to some extent with the review. I have just watched this and whilst not necessarily funny (occasional smirk, couple of chuckles) I found it to be engaging and warm enough for me to simply enjoy it.

It's like Meow-schwitz in there

Did I misread that?

An enjoyable finale to a rather mixed bag of a season. I found Cheryl's brother and girlfriend rather annoying. Still, even when it's not firing on all cylinders it's still the funniest thing on TV and Archer's hug with Lana was delivered with genuine pathos.

Yeah cause 'football''s such an exciting sport - ooh look that guy wearing a ridiculous amount of body armour has run five yards with the ball, let's analyse that for the next 3 hours.

I'm a big James Bond fan but found Casino Royale (the newer one) rather dull and Quantum of Solace just awful so swore off any future Daniel Craig outings. Some of my friends and many critics have suggested his latest is one of the best Bond's ever but I simply can't bring myself to watch it.

I would regard Sweet Sixteen and My Name is Joe as well above average and two or three others certainly worth watching.

Only 58,000 officially watched it in the U.K. I like to think there's quite a few over here who have said fuck you to Sky and downloaded it.

Surprised this is only now reaching the U.S, has been out for a long long time here in the U.K. I found it distinctly average - the first half is an interesting enough tale of working class struggle ((c) Loach) but it falls apart when the plot takes a contrived turn and moves into heist mode.

I am watching Cheers for the first time, they are showing 2 episodes a night here in the U.K. Currently on season 8 and it's absolutely brilliant. I agree with this overview of the show - I don't think it wavered any when Long left, stories and characters feel as rich as ever.

For us poor folk in the U.K we have to wait til the next day at the earliest. Do I look at the AV Club grade before I watch each episode? Big decision.

Are you still taking LSD? Got a new wife? Punched Pete?

Why the fuck is this up already? So tempted to read it, must resist…

I actually thought she was looking around asking herself 'where the hell am I again' but the payoff they used was brilliant.

Cheryl and Pam have owned this season.

Admission: I did not know who Sophie B. Hawkins was (and thought she was a fictional musician) until I heard “As I Lay Me Down.”
