'Fraid I'm going to have to do both The Great Divide and The Storm next week. For one thing, I've committed to two episodes per week. For another, I don't know if I can fill a whole article with only one episode, and three seems a little ambitious, especially since I'll be writing this up on the 4th and it'll be

I like that, too. Village of the Week it is!

I don't think they're going to go with a drug problem, either. The rape was sensational enough without throwing a lurid drug problem on top of it. I think KenHR is right about the implications: LaDonna is realizing that she's about to lose all of her independence, which is one of the defining characteristics of her

That's how they pair most shows with reviewers, which is why Myles McNutt only reviews shows that involve squirrels and Rowan Kaiser is on the Prussian TV beat.

I don't know that she was the most eloquent defender of this idea, but I think what she is trying to say is that life is not so precious that one should avoid death for something they believe a good cause. Which is a pretty interesting idea, since it is fair to say that in many conflicts, one side's terrorists are

I wouldn't call it misery porn. There's some reminders about how desperate life is in the Gaza Strip, but I wouldn't say that the movie dwells on it. But, then again, my idea of misery porn is Celebrity Apprentice. So look for me wallowing in it when I review the finale!

My OCD will not let me rest yet
Something I managed not so say in the whole review: "Life is precious, and God, and the Bible." But now I have said it, so thank you.

That was really funny. I think Marlee's toast in the long run, though. She's far too sane to stick around for too long.

If I hadn't been bone tired when finishing up this review, I would have definitely mentioned the previews. Having Gary Busey in charge of Backbone has the making of another astonishing meltdown, and I'll be surprised if it's not his last week. That said, I'm still uncomfortable with the way that the show

I can't say I was all that taken with Rinna last week (all the talk about the sisters working together leaves me to suspect she may be unaware of the divisions between Star, Dionne, and NeNe), but her downfall was both painful and riveting to watch.

It was indeed a pretty amazing series of screw-ups.

I confess that I've only checked in occasionally since the Omarosa season, but yeah, Trump's always had a criteria of his own in the boardroom, and behavior that will get people to watch the show is high on his list.

Mmm, delicious Meat Loaf.

Agree on both counts.

Ha!

I just posted about this upthread, but I agree entirely. Hatch played his role exactly right.

I really enjoyed Lil Jon and John Rich, too, and wish I'd had more space to expound on them. And man alive, being only vaguely aware of Star Jones before I watched this episode, I had no idea that she was a lawyer. When she dropped that line about prosecuting murderers, I let out my own Lil Jon-like WHAT?, thinking

Many thanks, y'all!

I think Richard played Trump exactly right, too. Because of the editing we don't know about Cassidy's smoke breaks. We only saw him take the one, right? Who knows whether Cassidy was acceptable at what his did or not (I thought that Trump & Li'l Trump were offering him a lifeline by suggesting that he deliberately

I'm surprised you don't have a wealth of stories about Team Backbone!
