I too noticed Thiessen looked a bit toned even compared to the last couple eps. And I also agree that they've found a pretty clever way to keep Sara involved, and with more or less all your comments about the trial. Turturro might have actually just been weird casting. And that whole photo shoot was great and

I don't know that I need it to get much gutsier, but it may well run its natural course at a certain point, especially when TV is an overcrowded field with very high expectations these days.

Man, there's no fury like a Bomer fan scorned. No reason to read too much into it. Just my opinion, as stated in an earlier thread, that he may be a criminal mastermind, but he is not believable in an undercover capacity as a ruthless kingpin, as was the case in this episode.

I didn't mean to suggest it comes up by other critics. It comes up for me (if you'd really like, I can try and go back and cite past mentions(, and in several episodes in the show's past (see prior paranthetical). He's much more apt as an undercover charmer than godfather-type. It's more just a personal aside, hence
