It does seem as if VH1 has become their destination for "prestige" programming, but that doesn't really conceal this doc as being sort of desperate self-promo. One of these days someone will tell the definitive story of the show, the good bad and ugly. Somehow I doubt its demise was as amicably accepted as this

It's a book I've definitely seen out there. I haven't read it yet, and am sure it's great. Sometimes authors don't always translate well as TV personalities, and they're also edited to shit, so it's not entirely in their control.
